1. Introduction & Scope
CentralComs, Inc. (“CentralComs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI-powered customer service and dispatching platform for home-services businesses. Our software answers inbound calls, texts, and emails on behalf of our customers, books jobs, and coordinates technician schedules. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit www.centralcoms.com, request a demo, or use the CentralComs platform.
This policy covers three groups of people:
- Visitors — anyone browsing our website or submitting our demo-request form.
- Customers — home-services businesses that create an account and use the platform.
- End customers— the homeowners and businesses who call, text, or email our customers. We process their communications on our customers’ behalf, as described in Section 4.
2. Information You Provide
We collect information you give us directly:
- Demo requests. When you request a demo we collect your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, company name, industry or trade, technician count, service area (residential or commercial), and job focus. Our sales team uses this information to follow up with you.
- Account information. When your business signs up we collect your name, email address, company details, and login credentials, plus the configuration you provide (business hours, service areas, technicians, calendars, and connected integrations).
- Correspondence. Anything you send us directly — support requests, emails, or feedback.
3. Information Collected Automatically
When you use our website or platform, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information using cookies and similar technologies:
- Usage analytics (PostHog).Pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, and product interaction data, including limited session replay. Our configuration masks form inputs and personal data fields, strips identifying details from URLs, and honors your browser’s Do Not Track setting.
- Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). On our marketing pages we use the Meta Pixel to measure page views, content views, and demo requests so we can gauge and improve our advertising. This may allow Meta to associate your visit with your Meta account. The pixel runs only on our public marketing pages, never inside the logged-in product.
- Performance data (Vercel Analytics). Aggregate page performance and web-vitals metrics from our hosting provider.
- Log data. IP address, timestamps, and request metadata collected in the ordinary course of operating a web service.
4. Communications Processed for Our Customers
The core of our service is handling communications on behalf of the home-services businesses that use CentralComs. When an end customer calls, texts, or emails one of our customers, we process that communication to answer it, book the job, and keep the customer’s team informed. This can include:
- Phone call audio, recordings, and transcripts
- Text message (SMS) conversations
- Email conversations
- Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and service addresses shared during those conversations
- Job details — the issue described, appointment times, and technician assignments
For this data, CentralComs acts as a service provider (processor): the business you contacted is responsible for the relationship with you, and we process the data under our agreement with that business. If you are an end customer and want to access or delete information from a conversation you had with a business using CentralComs, contact that business directly; we will support their response.
5. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the platform — including answering calls, texts, and emails, booking jobs, and dispatching technicians
- Generate AI responses and summaries. Communications are processed by large language model providers acting as our sub-processors (see Section 8). We do not permit our AI providers to use your data to train their models.
- Follow up on demo requests and respond to inquiries
- Monitor, debug, and improve the reliability and quality of the service
- Measure the effectiveness of our marketing
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
6. SMS & Text Messaging
If you provide your mobile number — for example, when requesting a demo — you consent to receive text messages from CentralComs related to your request or your use of the service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact us at founders@centralcoms.com.
- No mobile opt-in data or consent information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data will not be sold or shared.
Businesses using CentralComs to text their own customers are responsible for obtaining any consent required from their recipients (see our Terms of Service).
7. Call Recording & Transcription
Calls handled by the platform may be recorded and transcribed so that our customers can review conversations, confirm job details, and improve their service. Recording disclosures required by applicable law are the responsibility of the business receiving the call, and we provide the tools to deliver them. Recordings and transcripts are treated as customer communications data under Section 4 and retained per Section 10.
10. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business purposes such as security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Communications data processed for a customer (call recordings, transcripts, messages) is retained for as long as that customer’s account requires it and is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed or upon validated deletion requests. Demo-request information is kept while relevant to our sales relationship.
11. Security
We protect information with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, access controls that limit data access to those who need it, isolated per-organization data handling, and vetted infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — if we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
12. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Opt out of targeted advertising
To exercise any of these rights, email us at founders@centralcoms.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If your request concerns a conversation you had with a business that uses CentralComs, we may direct you to that business, which controls that data.
13. Children’s Privacy
CentralComs is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age that applies in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes & Contact
We may update this policy as the product and the law evolve. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will provide more prominent notice. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
